Best for
First camper trip; lochside evenings and a short woodland walk
Driving
Gentle
When to go
Spring–autumn; winter with a confirmed alternative pitch
Ferries
Mainland roads; no vehicle ferry

Why this trip: Two very different evenings: Loch Lomond first, then the mountains of Glencoe. The Lochan walk keeps the main day manageable.

The trade-off: There is one full sightseeing day between collection and return. Save Glen Etive for a longer hire.
