Our autumn and winter collection
Scotland in winter, at a gentler pace
A lochside walk, a bakery morning or a museum when the rain rolls in. Our winter trips from Glasgow keep the driving modest and give you a booked base to come back to.

Our winter approach: settle in, then explore
Stay in one base
These four-day plans spend three nights in the same touring park. Less packing down, more time for breakfast and a slow start.
Keep the drive simple
No ferries in this collection. Each plan has local outings, so you can shorten a day or stay close to your pitch when conditions change.
Have a wet-weather day
SEA LIFE at Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle or an Edinburgh museum give each trip an alternative to a day outdoors.
Choose your base
Three routes for the colder months
Loch Lomond for a short first drive, Callander for town and riverside days, or Edinburgh for museums with a coastal outing. Open a route for the daily plan, food stops and overnight suggestions.

A few things we’d plan differently in winter
Make night one a short drive
Standard collection starts at 14:00. Leave time for the handover and aim to reach your first pitch in daylight. The Loch Lomond plan is the closest of these three to our Glasgow base.
Confirm your winter pitch
Ask the site about your arrival time, electric hook-up and which showers and service points will be available. Our overnight suggestions are places to book, rather than an assumption that any car park allows a night’s stay.
Keep the outdoor day optional
Choose a low-level outing when conditions allow and leave exposed walks for another visit if the weather turns. There’s no need to complete every stop in the itinerary.
Check the drive before leaving
Use Traffic Scotland’s live road updates and the forecast for your route. Follow travel warnings and change the plan when necessary.
What about warmth and bedding?
We’ll explain your camper’s heating and ventilation at handover. Bring warm layers and follow those instructions throughout your trip. Bedding and towels are optional extras, so add them to your booking or bring your own.
A winter break with your Wee Coo
Choose your dates and camper, then build the trip around a confirmed pitch. Want help with the organising? Our personal trip-planning service costs £150 per trip, with hire, campsite fees and ferry fares charged separately.
