Why this trip: Luss and Glencoe give a first camper trip two contrasting nights with a manageable Lochan walk.

The trade-off: Collection and handback leave one main sightseeing day; Glen Etive needs a swap or another hire day.

Want a little more?

Glen Etive is an optional out-and-back drive, adding roughly 25–30 miles and 60–90 minutes of driving, before any walking. Add a hire day if you want it alongside the Lochan rather than instead of it.
