Wee Coo Campers – Frequently Asked Questions
The minimum age for drivers is 25 years old.
Our campervans are authorised for up to 4 passengers including the driver. Everyone must use a seatbelt while the vehicle is in motion.
No. The legal and insured capacity is four people total (including children). Each traveller must have their own seatbelt.
A valid, full driving licence is required. UK licences are accepted; international guests should bring their home country licence and, where applicable, an International Driving Permit. We’ll verify details at pick-up. See our Terms & Conditions for full requirements.
Yes — a refundable security deposit of £1,000 is taken at the start of hire. Add our CDW for £15/day to reduce excess to £150. Deposits are typically refunded within 5 days of return, subject to vehicle condition and timing. All payments are processed securely via SumUp.
We accept card payments via SumUp on our site. The balance and deposit are secured before collection. Any additional charges (e.g., damage, missing fuel) are itemised and processed the same way.

Standard pick-up from 2:00 PM; return by 12:00 PM (noon). Allow ~30 minutes for handover. Early pick-up / late return may be available with the Holy Cow Plan, subject to scheduling.
Collection is from our Wee Coo Campers base. Transfers may be available as an add-on at checkout (subject to availability). Please contact us if you have specific arrival details.
Standard cover is for travel within the UK. Trips abroad require prior written approval and additional insurance/fees. Please ask before booking. See our T&Cs.
Like-for-like: you’ll collect with a documented level and return with the same. Shortfalls may be charged plus an admin fee.
Please check your booking options for pet permissions and cleaning fees. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the vehicle.
Attendance at festivals or large events may require prior approval and additional terms. Please ask us before booking.
You’re covered by 24/7 roadside assistance. Follow the guide in your handover pack and contact us after you’ve called the breakdown number so we can help keep you moving.
Tolls and fines incurred during your hire are your responsibility. If we receive notices, we’ll reassign them to you or charge the card on file plus any admin fee outlined in our T&Cs.

All vans include The Udder Essentials (cooking kit, plates, cups, utensils, kettle) plus complimentary tea & coffee. Bedding and extra camping gear are available as add-ons at checkout.
Standard hires include unlimited UK mileage.
