Meet Bettie, a genuine factory-built Volkswagen California T6.1 Ocean, registered in 2024. Designed by Volkswagen as a campervan from the outset, Bettie combines comfortable driving with a practical interior for exploring Scotland.

There are four travelling seats with seatbelts and space for up to four people to sleep: a double bed in the pop-top roof and a second double made from the rear bench.

The fitted kitchen includes a gas hob, sink and fridge, with cookware, crockery, cutlery and kitchen essentials provided. Diesel heating, swivel cab seats, LED lighting and USB charging make life comfortable on the road. The 240V mains sockets require an electric hook-up.

An outdoor camping table and chairs are included. An awning provides shelter alongside the van. Unlimited mileage is included. Bedding and towels are optional extras and are not included as standard.

Standard collection is from 14:00 and return is by 12:00. Collection is from West Lodge Road, Renfrew PA4 9ED, close to Glasgow Airport. Early collection, late return and airport transfers must be arranged in advance and depend on availability; additional charges may apply.

Smoking and vaping inside the van and off-road driving are not permitted. Pets and festival use require prior agreement; pets incur an additional cleaning charge. Return the van with the agreed fuel level and remove rubbish before handover.
